24th of December

Like this we are celebrating Christmas in Denmark:
We are celebrating Jesus’ birthday on the 24th of December. Most of us are going to church in the afternoon. Jesus was born in Betlehem. But Pontius Pilatus were hanging him on the cross later. Most of our churches are many hundred years old. A few of our churches is nearly 1.000 years old. We are dancing around the tree in the evening and then we get presents. Some of the presents are very big and expensive others are small and cheap. The small one is very cozy. The expensive presents can be: A mobile or a remote controlled car or upgrades to it and many other things. The smaller presents can be: a teddybear, socks, other clothes and very much more.
