I have a sister named Maria (15 years), a dad named Søren (44 years), a mom named Mette (41) and a dog named Tikki (3 years). We live in a house which is: 160m2 and it is very normal in Denmark. I`m in 6th grade. My school is named Balle Friskole and there are 145 pupils and about 10 teachers. My school day is typical from 8:15 to 1:50 pm but on Thursdays I`m at school to 14:40 and on Wednesday’s I`m at school to 1:05pm. In my spare time I play soccer and badminton. Hi, our dear friends in Denmark!It's Valentina, a teacher of English from your partner school in Russia. I'm so sorry we didn't reply your last letters though we found them very interesting. And pictures are wonderful too! The matter is that I retired from Moshkovo Education Center in February and moved to live and work in the other town.

Here the whole country are following a tv calendar here in December, it’s a calendar where there is an episode for every day in December to the 24th of December where we have Christmas. In Denmark at Christmas eve we are eating duck, turkey or pork roast, potatoes fried in sugar, red cabbage, gel in apples and for dessert rice pudding. What do you eat in Russia for Christmas?

This year we spend Christmas Eve with my grandmother, grandfather, cousins, uncle and aunt. So that’s a lot of presents which need to be opened. My wishes are new clothes, cosmetic products, handball things and accessories. I’ll try to describe how we celebrate Christmas Eve. We go to church in the afternoon and afterwards we go to my mother´s aunt and eat a lot of Christmas candy and goodies, I think it’s important to be together with your family and who you love in the Christmas time.
